So I moved to another state and I thought it would be cool to send decorated envelopes to friends and family. When I looked it up, some sites said it’s perfectly fine while others said that the USPS wouldn’t deliver it. Someone told me that it’s highly automated now and that decorating an envelope can cause it to be ignored, but when one of my parental units used to work at the post office, any decorated or butchered hand written letter was sent to a machine, scanned, and a human would have to interpret it.
