Where to find the card making ideas

When people know that I have to do often comment cards could not do that. They automatically assume each card that I think is something that happened, but the truth of the matter is that anyone can make cards and not have to come with the same ideas. The world is full of ideas and inspiration and many of them for little or no cost. So where I can find ideas and inspiration?

I can remember when I learned rubber stamping and card making. I have some supplies and went to a meeting with some friends who also enjoyed paper crafting. I sat at the table with all I got my supplies and I had no idea of what to do next. I did not know what to do. I kept thinking and thinking, increasingly frustrated by minutes. Then they left me on a little secret. Most card manufacturers do not just sit back and create cards from scratch. They start with an inspiration piece. Very often a card someone else made.

On-line

Since you are probably in line reading this article, we will start here. The online world is full of ideas for card manufacturers. There are entire sites dedicated to galleries of samples of the card. Many card manufacturers now writing blogs as a place to share their creations. Companies that manufacture and sell card making supplies often have galleries devoted the cards made with their products. Many card making and paper making are also journal online content. Some is found in regular print publication, while more often there are ideas and examples that do not fit in the printed version. This brings me to the next place to look for ideas.

Magazines

There are dozens of journals currently in print devoted exclusively to card making, paper craft or art paper. Check your local bookstore, craft and hobby store, or store large departments of the box and you will find plenty.

Stores

Many local paper crafts, card making, stamping or scrapbooking stores have projects in the screen that change with the season or if new products are released. You can even take your camera or camera phone to the store and takes a picture of all projects you would like to refer to later, when you sit down to create.

Outside the Box

While this idea may not appeal to many beginners experienced card makers look to nontraditional places for ideas and inspiration. Our world today is saturated by advertising and color than ever. Look through any magazine ads, designs, fonts and color combinations. See what colors and combinations colors are appearing in local stores. What trends are hot in home fashion and interior decorating? Ideas and inspiration are everywhere. It could even draw on the front of a box of cereal. Just keep your eyes open and pay attention.

What is more important to remember is that you do not have to pull ideas out of nowhere. There are plenty of places for inspiration. Start with something and once you're sure the ideas flow. You are making small changes to the idea that began with the creation and will soon be his own. Now find a piece of inspiration to get started.

Can’t Decide on a Birthday Gift for Your Child?

Everyone loves a special gift on their birthday: especially our kids! I have put together a list of 10 memorable gifts you can gift your children on their birthday without breaking the bank.

Art supplies: almost all kids enjoy crayons, markers, stickers, colored pencils, gel pens, special papers and scissors, sidewalk chalk, water colors, homemade rubber stamps, “how to draw” books calligraphy instructions, or origami instructions and colored paper. An art supply gift not only encourages the youngsters to use their imagination, but it can be an extra treat when you spend time with them using them.

Books are always great gifts for any age: you can get musical or squeaky books for the little ones, short stories for preschoolers, adventure books for 9-11 year olds, and so on: there is a book for every taste. You can also buy books about your child’s interests, books about careers, etc.

A classic movie, which never goes out of style, great for when friends come over, or on that day when they are bored and nothing else could help.

For older boys, a tool kit would be great: gives them the opportunity to work side by side with dad, and possibly learn a life skill.

For older girls, beads could mean hours of fun. Buy a variety of colors and shapes and watch you little princess enjoy hours of happiness.
