I personally despise the concept of iq and its exploitation as a mean of insulting other people, and to an even greater degree its fetishism by a self-laudatory group which considers itself “superior”.

I believe that IQ doesn’t actually measure anything innate. IQ measures education rather than intelligence. People with supposedly high IQ’s are not necessarily superior in any way! People who are apt to believe such foolishness should keep their outdated theories to themselves. There are many different types of intelligences and they cannot be effectively measured by a test. Keep in mind that these tests are typically devised by people with a higher education and those that belong to higher socio-economic groups. The tests are biased and they mean little more than nothing. I have no idea what my IQ score would be and I do not care to find out! The whole notion of IQ is connected with racist theories and elitism. Today the term is thrown around a lot but it is actually stems from information which is not factual in nature. I wouldn’t mind burying the whole idea of “IQ”. It should be easy enough to access types of intelligence through other methods. I have no time for elitism and snobbery(That was redundant!)
